HIGH AND LOW KEY

LOW KEY

This is images with...

- darker tones, often with black background

- underexposed intentionally

- idea of mystery, darness and threat

I haven't tried this kind of lighting in this session as it is quite simalar to the images produced in the earlier illuminating objects exercise.



HIGH KEY


Images with...

- light tones

- overexposed

- purity, innocence, freshness


We did the following images using white umbrellas on the lights at the back of the set up, using a soft box light to light up the subject. If I hadn't of used the main light it would have caused silouettes.
